Cathy Bennett is a board-certified health and wellness coach with a Master of Science in Functional Nutrition and a passion for helping others reclaim their health through sustainable, whole-person strategies. As the founder of Back to Basics Health Coaching, she specializes in sleep hygiene, breathing education, and nutrition-based lifestyle transformation, always grounded in both science and faith.

Cathy and her husband, Dr. Michael Bennett, have been partners in life and purpose since 1991. Together, they’ve raised six children, adore their ten grandchildren, and share a mission to shift the healthcare narrative toward prevention, personal responsibility, and true healing. Their work, through podcasts, professional newsletters, and coaching, promotes sleep and airway health as a foundational pillar of lifelong wellness.

While Cathy enjoys working one-on-one with clients, she is increasingly passionate about reaching broader audiences through speaking, teaching, and collaborative projects with Dr. Bennett. Together, they aim to influence conversations in dental, medical, and family health spaces—offering a unified message of hope and empowerment.

For Cathy, this work is deeply personal. She and Dr. Bennett are committed to creating a future where their grandchildren—and all families—can grow up in a culture of vibrant health, not chronic disease. They believe a better healthcare model is not only possible, but urgent. Their voices are part of a growing movement to restore health at its roots: through breath, nourishment, movement, sleep, and the divine design of the human body.
